About the Iiiu.xyz Virus
Iiiu.xyz is a Browser Hijacker compatible with Chrome, Firefox and other browsers that is commonly mistaken for a dangerous page-redirecting virus that secretly enters your computer and causes many annoying problems. Most of these problems are related to changes in the browser’s homepage or search engine settings and the automatic generation of various pay-per-click ads, banners, pop-ups and intrusive redirect messages. That’s why it is not a surprise that some of the web users may really mistake this program for a strange piece of malware similar to threats like Trojans and Ransomware. However, the truth is that Iiiu.xyz is not nearly as dangerous – it is an ad-generating and page-redirecting tool of the online marketing industry. It has been developed by a group of software developers with the intention to promote certain sponsored ads and links on the users’ screens during their regular web browsing.
Once it is activated, this browser hijacker usually integrates with the main browser on the system (this could be Chrome, Firefox, Explorer or another one) and makes some modification in the homepage, the search engine tool and the new tab address without asking for specific permission from the user’s side. Usually, the people who have Iiiu.xyz, www2.savemax.store, www1.ecleneue.com installed on their computers have to face problems such as aggressive ads generation all over their screens, automatic page-redirects to specific pages, slow and unresponsive browser, appearance of false-alert notifications or click prompts that ask them to download or purchase different products, etc. Basically, this software has the ability to bombard your computer screen with tons of ads, banners and pop-ups that seem to show attractive offers, discounts, coupon codes, and similar promotions and aggressively try to convince you to click on some of the ads and buy some of the products and services online. If you are looking for a solution that would allow you to avoid all these ads and potentially unwanted browser changes, then it is recommended that you remove Iiiu.xyz from your PC (or Mac) permanently. If you don’t know how to do that, our “How to remove” team has prepared a detailed Removal Guide with the help of which you can uninstall this potentially unwanted application easily and with minimal effort.
